Lyna Tadount studied art at Panthéon Sorbonne Paris I, then LEMA at the Faculty of Letters at Sorbonne University Paris IV, during which she developed her filmmaking activity as a self-taught artist.
From October 2023 to February 2024 she co-wrote and co-directed Ya Hanouni within the framework of the Nikon Film Festival, allowing her to anchor herself in socially engaged cinema. To date, Ya Hanouni has received 36 awards from the 110 festivals that selected it in 38 different countries. Among these selections, 6 are Oscars® Qualifying Film Festivals.
Currently, Lyna is enrolled in a series screenwriting program at Nouvelles Écritures, where she is developing her series project.
In parallel, she works as a journalist for Télésorbonne. She was notably a reporter at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival alongside three of her colleagues.
